When you apply to join or use Salus, we collect the following information:
- Account information: Full name, email address, and password.
- Profile information: Bio, phone number, profile photo, location, website URL, Instagram URL, and wellness modalities you practice.
- Application information: Practitioner description and modalities submitted during your application.
- Session and trade data: Records of sessions exchanged, credit ledger entries, and trade history between members.
- Event participation: RSVP records and event submissions.
- Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
- Device information: Push notification tokens for delivering notifications to your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and profile within the Salus community.
- To facilitate session trades and maintain your credit balance.
- To display your profile to other active members in the community directory.
- To send you notifications about session confirmations, community events, and account updates.
- To process subscription payments through Stripe.
- To review and process membership applications.
- To improve and maintain the Salus platform.
3. Information Sharing
Salus is a private, members-only community. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Within the community: Your name, photo, bio, modalities, and location are visible to other active members. Your email and phone number are visible on your profile to facilitate session coordination.
- Service providers: We use Supabase for data storage and authentication, Stripe for payment processing, Expo for push notifications, and Resend for transactional emails. These providers only access data necessary to provide their services.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our members.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication is handled securely through Supabase Auth. Database access is controlled through row-level security policies ensuring members can only access data they are authorized to see. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and update your personal information through your profile settings.
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of non-essential notifications through your device settings.

6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or operational purposes such as maintaining accurate ledger records.
